Welcome to Youlog. These Terms form an agreement between Youlog's operator ("we", "us") and users who register for or use Youlog services ("you").

Youlog is a publishing platform where creators can publish notes, articles, and other creative works for long-term access. Content is currently published through aNote.
To register, you must provide a valid email address. You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for all activity under your account.
2. Content and Ownership
Your content belongs to you. You retain all intellectual property rights to any content you publish on Youlog.
When you publish content publicly, you grant us a non-exclusive license to host, display, and distribute that content on the platform. This license does not limit your other rights to use your content.
You are solely responsible for content you publish. Do not post content that is illegal, infringing, or harmful to others' rights.
3. Acceptable Use
When using Youlog, you agree to the following:
- do not attack, access without authorization, or otherwise interfere with normal service operation
- do not maliciously consume system resources such as storage or bandwidth
- respect others' intellectual property rights

We recommend exporting and backing up important content regularly.
5. Service Changes and Termination
We may continuously iterate on and improve product features.
If you violate these Terms, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account access.
If we decide to discontinue Youlog, we will provide at least 30 days' advance notice via in-app notice or email, and offer a complete data export path so you can take your content with you.
6. Disclaimer
The service is provided "as is" without express or implied warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or special damages arising from use of, or inability to use, the service.
7. Updates to These Terms
If these Terms change in a material way, we will notify you in advance through in-app notice or email. Continued use of the service after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
